The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government is looking for public opinions on the new Judicial Center building.

The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government will host a public input meeting Tuesday, June 30 from 4-7:30 p.m.

Residents are invited to drop in at any point. They are encouraged to share opinions on the exterior appearance and public gathering places in the new Judicial Center.

The Mayor and Commission approved the site selection at the June 2 regular session meeting. Voters previously approved the use of SPLOST funds on the project. The total cost is estimated to be over $200 million.

The public input meeting will take place at the Dougherty Street Government Building Auditorium at 120 W. Dougherty Street.

Construction of the new Judicial Center is tentatively scheduled to begin in early 2028.
