The University of Georgia received a record $324.4 million in private donations during fiscal year 2026, marking the third consecutive year of historic fundraising. Nearly 69,800 alumni, parents and friends contributed gifts supporting scholarships, research, faculty, and campus initiatives.

According to UGA, privately funded scholarships benefited 10,050 students during the academic year, while the university's "For Georgia. For Generations." scholarship campaign has raised $53 million. The university also reported a three-year fundraising average of $300 million and now has 407 endowed faculty positions.

Major gifts included $20.5 million from the Ivester Foundation to support the newly named UGA School of Nursing, $5 million for the College of Engineering from Nancy and Les Juneau, and a $10 million commitment from alumnus Adam Wexler for men's basketball.

University officials said the continued philanthropic support will expand educational opportunities, strengthen research and advance strategic priorities across Georgia.
