First Lady Marty Kemp and GBI Director Chris Hosey have announced the release of the See Something, Send Something app. The app allows users to anonymously report suspicious activity relating to human trafficking and other crimes. They released a PSA on Wednesday detailing the use of the app.
First Lady Marty Kemp said, “Click on the human trafficking tab and you can report any suspicious activity you see in Georgia.”
“The information you submit will be sent directly to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation,” according to Director Hosey. “You can report concerns right from your phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”
You can also submit anonymous tips by calling 1-800-597-TIPS (8477) or online at https://gbi.georgia.gov/submit-tips-online.
Authorities say an international airport and an extensive highway system result in Georgia being considered a major destination for human trafficking.
