The University of Georgia was ranked among the nation’s top public universities for value in The Princeton Review’s latest college rankings, with the school also earning high marks for its alumni network, financial aid and internship opportunities.
UGA ranked No. 12 among the 50 best-value public universities in The Princeton Review’s Best Colleges for 2027 rankings. The list considers factors including the cost of attending a university and the benefits students receive from their education.
The university also ranked No. 8 among public schools for alumni networks, No. 10 for access to financial aid and No. 16 for internship placement.
The recognition comes as colleges and universities across the country continue to face questions about affordability and the value of a four-year degree.
UGA President Jere W. Morehead attributed the rankings to the university’s faculty, staff and students.
“The most recent rankings reflect the exceptional learning environment that exists at the University of Georgia and the transformative power of a UGA degree,” Morehead said.
The Princeton Review’s rankings provide prospective students with another measure for comparing colleges, particularly on factors such as cost, financial aid, and career opportunities.
