The University of Georgia has again been recognized as one of the nation’s top colleges, earning a 4.5-star rating in Money’s annual Best Colleges in America rankings.

Money cited UGA’s affordability, academic quality and strong student outcomes. The university has received a 4.5-star rating every year since the publication adopted its five-star system in 2023. More than 700 four-year institutions were evaluated using 25 measures of educational quality, affordability and graduate success.

UGA’s profile highlights an 87% six-year graduation rate, median student debt of $18,500 and median earnings of $48,074 for recent graduates. The report also found that 89% of undergraduates receive grant aid, with low-income students paying an average of $8,085 after financial aid.

The recognition follows other recent honors, including a top-20 public university ranking from U.S. News & World Report and a No. 12 best value public university ranking from The Princeton Review.
