UGA Today

According to Niche’s 2027 Best College rankings, the University of Georgia earned an A+ grade.

An A+ means that UGA ranked among the top 2.5% of colleges that were scored by Niche. This puts UGA in the 13th spot out of 586 public universities in the United States considered by Niche.

UGA received top marks in several categories, including academics, quality of professors and student life.

Multiple programs were also ranked in the top ten. UGA was named the eighth best college for business. The agricultural sciences and accounting and finance programs were ranked seventh in the nation. Communications and sports management both took the sixth overall spot.

When determining the rankings, Niche puts the most weight on the academic quality of the institutions. It also takes value and faculty quality into account.

Feedback from student surveys also played a role in the rankings.
