Children are getting their teeth cleaned between classes
The Athens Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC) has partnered with the Clarke County School District (CCSD) to bring dental care to students.
The ANHC’s mobile dental bus made its first stop at J.J. Harris Elementary School this week, September 2nd and is scheduled to visit twice a week for the rest of September.
The mobile dental bus offers cleanings, X-rays, fillings, sealants, and other preventative care. CCSD says they will announce when the dental bus will visit other schools in the district at a later date.
