The Housing and Community Development Department will make about $1.1 million in local funding available through the Community Partnerships Program and Housing Counseling Programs, along with an anticipated $1.2 million in federal Community Development Block Grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The Community Partnerships Program will provide up to $1 million for neighborhood revitalization, poverty reduction, economic development, homeless services and other community initiatives. Another $100,000 will support housing counseling for renters and homeowners.
CDBG funds may support affordable housing, economic development, public services and facility improvements.
Eligible organizations can apply through a competitive process from Oct. 8 through Nov. 20, 2026. A virtual informational meeting will be held Oct. 8 at 9 a.m. More information is available through the county’s Housing and Community Development Department.
