Two kilograms of fentanyl and two ounces of cocaine were seized by the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force during a search executed Friday.
With assistance from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department Gang Unit, Downtown Unit, and K-9 unit, authorities additionally apprehended one firearm, multiple forged identification documents, and approximately $7,000 at properties on Sycamore Drive and Chateau Terrace controlled by Francisco De Jesus Reyes-Lopez and Miguel Reyes-Lopez.
Francisco was charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl and Trafficking in Cocaine. Miguel was charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. Additional firearm and forgery charges are pending.
