Donna Lowry
Donna Lowry is a capitol correspondent for this season’s coverage of Georgia’s 2019 legislative session beginning Monday, Jan. 14.
The long-running GPB television program provides daily, in-depth reporting of the state legislature during the annual Georgia General Assembly session and analysis on issues including taxes, jobs, education, schools and the environment.
Lowry, who comes to GPB after working in television as a reporter with WXIA for nearly 30 years, will be part of a team that includes award-winning journalist Scott Slade. Most recently, Lowry served as the chief communications officer for Fulton County Schools in Atlanta.
