Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger held a press conference Tuesday morning with insight into how voting will work in the upcoming November election. According to his office's research, about 50% of Georgia voters expect to vote via absentee ballot -- up from about 5% historically.

According to the press release, the office is preparing in several ways, including setting up an online absentee ballot request portal, support for absentee ballot drop boxes around the state, and distribution of protective equipment for poll workers.

Last week, the ACLU released a paper reporting that approximately 200,000 Georgians were wrongfully purged from voter rolls, which are only supposed to be affected when a person has moved, died, or not voted recently.
