The Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission will hold a work session tomorrow evening where they will discuss possible improvements along the Prince Avenue Corridor.
The commission will deliberate recommendations brought forward by the Prince Avenue Users Group, with most related to improving safety on the stretch of Prince Avenue from Sunset Drive to Pulaski. The budget of a proposed 3.8 million will come from 2018 TSPLOST money.
Recommendations include more bus shelters and more frequent bus trips, mid-block crosswalks and protected bike lanes, among other items.
The work session will be held at 4:30 tomorrow evening and will be available to stream on YouTube as well as the Athens Clarke County Government Facebook page.
