Georgia is currently reporting more than 351-thousand cumulative cases of COVID-19 infections, about 4,000 cases higher than Friday the 23rd, with the death toll at 7,827. Just over 31,000 people have been hospitalized, with ICU admissions over 5,829.
Athens-Clarke County has 5,708 cases of coronavirus infections and 47 deaths. Barrow County is reporting 2,579 cases and 50 deaths, Jackson has 2,361 cases with 40 deaths, Madison County comes in with 783 cases and 11 deaths, Oconee County has 865 and 30 deaths and Oglethorpe County has 416 cases with 13 deaths.
