Basics of Science Storytelling

  In today’s fast-paced, media-driven society, it is hard to read science news and accurately separate fact from fiction. Dr. Patricia Thomas, the Knight Chair in Health and Medical Journalism, discusses her approach when training today’s journalism students on the art of science storytelling using evidence-based literature. In both science and journalism, the aim is to question and solve complicated problems facing the world. And more importantly, getting the facts right still matters more than being first.
