The final episode in April is the fourth instalment of the six-week African music odyssey on the show. The episode returns to honoring the spring season that is becoming warm and colorful all-around Athens, GA. It presents extended musical breaks with short news updates sandwiched between the delightful African musical selections. Many of the selected tunes on the episode were to celebrate Muslim listeners currently observing the holy month of Ramadan. The episode also congratulates the two latest African Grammy award winners, Benin’s Angelique Kidjo and South Africa’s DJ Black Coffee who won in their respective categories at the 64th Grammy Awards ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, 2022. As always, the episode, the African music odyssey #4 featured selected enjoyable music from Africa and/or by Africans including selected tunes from Benin’s Grammy award winner Angelique Kidjo and two collections, Rough Guide to the music of North Africa, and Africa North
