This is the final episode of our four scheduled African music specials as part of the twenty-sixth anniversary celebration of the show. The episode doubles as our show’s Thanksgiving Holiday special and features a few delightful African music tunes as a testament to all the great tunes we have shared over the nearly 26 years of the show. The episode features the music and tidbits about the career of the late Cameroonian musician, Wes Madiko. The episode also repeats, for the final time, the invitation to listeners to share their anniversary feedback messages and receive gifts of music. The three questions to which listeners can react before the December 4 revelation of selected feedbacks were also shared. As always, the episode featured selected enjoyable music from Africa and/or by Africans including selections from wonderful collections by Cameroon’s Wes Madiko, Congo’s Awilo Longomba and Ethiopian, Gigi.
