December 11

The second episode of the show in December is an end of the year music special featuring soothing selected African tunes from the two-volume collection titled Smooth Africa I and II. The music special episode recognizes the diversity that is African music and serves as a special offering for the time of the year, including the end of the year (school and calendar), and the hectic holiday season. The episode is a special dedication to and celebration of the entire graduating class here at the University of Georgia and others graduating in various institutions in our listening area, including the high school graduates in the area. The episode also sends best holiday wishes to all listeners during the month, including those celebrating both religious and cultural holidays during the season. As always, the episode featured selected enjoyable music from Africa and/or by Africans including selected tunes from the wonderful CD collections, Smooth Africa, and Smooth Africa II.
