Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s Secretary of State, is urging the Georgia General Assembly to pass legislation that requires Georgia citizens to have a Real ID to cast their votes in elections.

While the Supreme Court’s decision does not directly apply to Georgia’s statute, it is expected to influence how courts assess similar laws in more than 20 other states.
