Pride Month

On June 7th, Athens celebrated its annual Pride festival. While storms did shut down the Festival early, Athens showed up in support for Athens PrideFest 2025.

It’s June, and although the local Pride Parade has passed, Pride Month isn’t over yet. Miss Kellie Divine is a local drag queen and the founder and director of the Athens Showgirl Cabaret, a drag company which performs monthly at local venues.

Downtown Athens to host PrideFest June 6th

The PrideFest festival zone will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. It will feature local artists, businesses and food trucks. There will also be performances, including a DJ, a live band and drag performers.

On June 7th, Athens celebrated its annual Pride festival. Hosted by Athens Pride and Queer Collective, an array of entertainment performed on the main stage while vendors shared their causes.
