Rezoning

Property owners in northeast Athens have submitted plans to rezone 200 acres of undeveloped land to an industrial area. Planning Commissioners heard from opponents last Thursday.

Several land rezoning requests came before the Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission on Tuesday night that would greenlight plans for increased density, prompting public opposition.
