Three Athens nonprofits are going over the edge Saturday. Volunteers are rappelling down a building to raise much-needed funds. Susie Weller is Executive Director of Children First.
“We’re going to have some vendors out there, we’re going to have a bouncy house and face painting for the kids,” Over the Edge is a collaboration between Children First, The Nancy Travis Childcare Project and Interfaith Hospitality Network.”
She says this event is much like last’s year.
“This year, we’ll again be at the SPARC building at the intersection of Broad and King. Come on down for the day, we’ll be there from 9 until 4. There’ll be food and music and we’d love to have you.”
