Pendergrass Man Accused of Multiple Mail Thefts

A Pendergrass man is in custody, accused of multiple mail thefts. According to a media release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest of 38-year old Anthony Eugene Miller comes after a joint investigation by the sheriff and the U.S. Postal Service into multiple mail thefts throughout Jackson County and surrounding counties.

Miller is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail facing 27 counts of Identity Theft, Theft by Receiving Stolen Motor Vehicle, Removing or Affixing License Plate with Intent to Conceal Identity of a Vehicle, Obstruction, Probation Violation and more. Miller may be facing additional charges.

The Jackson Sheriff’s Office urges citizens to report any suspicious persons, crimes or other relevant information by contacting the office at 706-367-8718, the anonymous Tip line at 706-367-3784, or their local law enforcement office.
