Envision Athens is hosting it first anniversary party Tuesday evening.
Athenians are invited to learn about the progress that has been made, as well as the next steps to be taken.
The community is invited to celebrate Good Neighbor Day. Erin Barger is Project Manager at Envision Athens.
She says the community is welcome to help recognize the first three winners of the newly-minted Good Neighbor Award good neighbor Day.
“And so the spirit of this event is to invite every single member of this community to come together, honor good neighbors as well as take a look at what we have accomplished together within the past year,” according to Barger. “And it’s just a time to relax, enjoy, celebrate and honor the people who make this community the great place that it is.”
The free, family-friendly event is this evening from 5 to 8 p at the Athens Community Career Academy 440 Dearing Extension.
