ACCPD Transforms East Precinct into Haunted House

ACCPD

Police officers don't just fight crime. This Saturday, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department will transform their east precinct training room into a haunted house to celebrate the spooky season.

The second annual tours will be Saturday, Oct. .26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for children 10 and under and from 2-8 p.m. for children of all ages. Admission is free, but they recommend bringing canned, non-perishable goods to benefit the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.

"We really want the community to enjoy the event which in turn will help others through the donation of canned goods," said Senior Police Officer Greg Gilchrist, who provided the decorations, costumes and props for the haunted house event.

The ACCPD East Precinct is located at 3035 Lexington Road.
