An Athens nonprofit is in need of donations for its clients. Project Safe, which works to end domestic violence, needs several items. They include combs and brushes, pots, pans, and silverware, hand soap, trash bags, various gift cards and other items.
All donations can be dropped off at the Project Safe Thrift Store at 995 Hawthorne Avenue, between 10 am and 6 pm. Monday through Saturday and from 1 to 6 pm on Sundays. For more information about Project Safe, visit www.project-safe.org.
Project Safe works to end domestic violence through crisis intervention, ongoing supportive services, systems change advocacy, and prevention and education in the community.
