CCSD Reports Most Parents Selected In-Person Learning

Clarke County School District

The Clarke County School District's Weekly Update today reported that most parents and guardians selected the in-person instructional model for their elementary and middle school students.

According to the response data provided in the update, the average percentage of virtually enrolled students in elementary schools is roughly 28% and 35% for middle schools. This means that a majority of students will be returning to in-person instruction on November 9th.

Those who are returning to in-person instruction are required to wear face coverings at all times and practice social distancing. Additional protocols include assigned seating arrangements, limited use of shared classroom supplies, and frequent disinfection of regularly touched surfaces.

For students learning remotely, daily meals will be available at curbside locations between 11 am and noon. For more information, visit www.clarke.k12.ga.us

Reopening information sessions will be held at 6 pm on October 27th and 28th and can be viewed live on the Clarke County School District YouTube channel. High school students will remain virtual until further notice.
