Lyndon House Arts Center Hosts 46th Juried Exhibition

The Lyndon House Arts Center is holding its 46th Juried Exhibition this month. The center is currently holding preview days through tomorrow, Saturday. Didi Dunphy is the Program Supervisor. Due to the pandemic, this the first virtual show for the facility.

"While we were nervous about the community having to face more computer time, we had a wonderful turnout. 270 artists submitted over 700 works of art which is just so exciting for us that, even in the midst of a pandemic and not our wonderful, social days of in-person drop-off, we've had the same support as we've always had."

The exhibition opens to the general public on Tuesday, March 16th, and remains on view through June 26th. In-person visitors must have free, timed tickets to limit crowds, and they must wear masks.

"This allows you to come in safety in a certain number of people per hour to provide social distance."

This year’s Juror, Hallie Ringle, is the contemporary curator at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Sixteen named and merit awards totaling $2,500 were awarded this year. For more information or tickets, visit accgov.com/lyndonhouse
