Braves head to Houston for World Series game one

The Atlanta Braves are in Houston tonight for game one of the World Series, the team’s first World Series appearance this century. The first pitch is set for 8:09 pm Eastern Daylight Time, and the game will be televised on FOX.

Vegas isn’t painting a rosy picture for the Braves, however. Most oddsmakers seem to favor the Houston Astros, who last won the World Series in 2017, although allegations of sign-stealing emerged after the win, casting a shadow on the team’s win.

Pitcher Charlie Morton is expected to take the mound for the Braves, while southpaw Framber Valdez gets the start for the Astros.
