UGA announces 2023 Signature Lecture speakers

The Signature Lecture Series features speakers noted nationally or internationally for their broad, multidisciplinary appeal and compelling bodies of work.
Television producer Marcy Carsey is one of ten speakers in UGA's Signature Lecture Series

The University of Georgia has announced its list of speakers for its spring 2023 signature lectures.

“Signature Lectures provide an opportunity for the university community to engage with nationally renowned speakers and learn from their wealth of knowledge and insight,” said S. Jack Hu, the university’s senior vice president for academic affairs and provost. “This lecture series enriches the UGA learning experience by fostering the open exchange of ideas and deepening our interdisciplinary knowledge.”

Experts and leaders from different backgrounds that include, government, history, business, higher education and the arts and sciences will make appearances.

All lectures will be free and open to the public, but some require registration beforehand online to attend.
