The University of Georgia’s football team has moved up to No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings after beating Mississippi 52-17 on Saturday.

The announcement moved Ohio State to second-place, while Michigan and Florida maintained their third and fourth spots.

Two additional teams from the Southeastern Conference made the top ten with Alabama holding on to eight place and Missouri rising to ninth.

With only three rankings left, all eyes are on the Bulldogs as they travel to No. 18 Tennessee this weekend.

The final ranking will take place on December 3, which will decide what teams will compete in the playoffs, with the national championship taking place on January 8.
