The Clarke County School District’s Department of Special Education will be holding an event that will introduce students and their families to resources to assist them in planning for post-secondary opportunities.
On Friday, April 25, the CCSD Department of Special Education is hosting their Transition Fair at the district administrative office building located at 595 Prince Ave., Athens from 9 a.m. to noon.
This event is meant to connect students and their families with resources to assist them with educational opportunities after high school. More than 30 local and resource providers will be sharing information about job support, trust planning, guardianship, and more.
Parents/guardians can attend workshops to get more information and instructions about how to apply for the New Option Waiver Program and Comprehensive Support Waiver Program.
