The Athens-Clarke County Police Department reported that Lillie Mae Wade, a 77-year-old Athens woman who was declared missing on Saturday, has been found deceased.

Her remains were found near Dairy Pak Road.

The search included aerial support, K-9 operations and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency. It ended Monday around 1:30 pm.

Ms. Wade had dementia, according to previous statements.
