ACC Animal Services seeking temporary foster homes for dogs

ACC Animal Services is running their Couch Crashers program this holiday season.

Athens-Clarke County Animal Services is seeking temporary foster homes for dogs in a program called Couch Crashers. The program will run from December 19th through January 2nd.

According to ACC Animal Services, fostering at this time “helps alleviate overcrowding in the shelter, reduces animal stress, and improves adoption outcomes.” All food, supplies, and veterinary support will be provided by the shelter.

Anyone interested in the program can learn more and sign up through the Athens-Clarke County government website.

All candidates must complete a screening and orientation prior to placement.
