UGA holds Fall 2025 Commencement

Masters graduates celebrate with streamers going off overheard at the close of the Fall Graduate Commencement at Stegeman Coliseum.

The University of Georgia welcome its latest group of alumni on Friday. More than 3,200 students qualified to graduate from the University of Georgia.

The undergraduate ceremony took place at 10 a.m. in Stegeman Coliseum and the graduate ceremony followed at 2:30 p.m., also at Stegeman Coliseum.

Doug Ivester, former chairman of the board and CEO of the Coca-Cola Company delivered the undergraduate address and Ron Walcott, provost for graduate education and dean of the graduate school spoke at the grad ceremony.

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
