After last month’s severe ice storm a woman was discovered who has yet to be identified.

Athens-Clarke County Police Department (ACCPD) are still looking for more information on the woman who was found dead January 27th. The woman is believed to have frozen to death. Her body was discovered in the 3100 block of Atlanta Hwy, days after an ice storm.

The woman was between the ages of 40 and 50 years old. She was wearing a yellow sweater, a North Face hoodie with pink writing, lime green and light blue Skechers, and a jean jacket. She was discovered without any identification so ACCPD is asking that anyone who believes they know the identity of the woman to contact their office.
