In March, the Madison County Board of Education announced the appointment of two principals for its school district. Meanwhile, the Clarke County Board of Education also approved the appointment of a principal at one of Clarke County’s elementary schools.
Jeremy Waller and Dr. Melissa Conway were both appointed by the Madison County Board of Education to serve as principals for the 2026-2027 academic year. Waller will be the principal at Ila Elementary, and Conway will serve as principal at Madison County High School.
In Clarke County School District, the Board of Education selected Dr. Katie Hanks as principal of Whit Davis Elementary School, and the appointment to this position will take place immediately.
