Early voting starts for runoff to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene

A small race in Georgia is making national headlines as the fight for Marjorie Taylor Greene’s congressional seat enters a runoff.

Voters in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District can head to the polls Monday, March 30 to early vote in the special runoff election.

The election was called after Greene resigned from her position in January. She cited frustrations with her own party in a public statement.

21 candidates ran in the special election on March 10. While more people voted red, votes were split over 16 Republican candidates, and no candidate received a simple majority.

Democrat Shawn Harris and Republican Clayton Fuller will face off in the runoff election on April 7.
