Applications now open for Piedmont Regional Auxiliary scholarships

Piedmont Athens Regional Auxiliary is currently accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program, which provides support for students pursuing healthcare careers.

Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to a Georgia institution of higher learning, with the intention of receiving a degree in a healthcare field.

Qualifications include residency in the 17-county area served by Piedmont Athens Regional. They include Athens-Clarke, Banks, Barrow, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Habersham, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Stephens, Taliaferro, Walton, and Wilkes counties.

Additionally, those interested must have an official transcript submitted with an online application, a 3.0 GPA or higher, submit a 600-to-1,000-word essay, and at least two letters of recommendation. The deadline to apply is May 30, 2026.
