The University of Georgia Athletic Association Board of Directors approved a fiscal year 2027 budget. The unanimous vote in favor of the $239.1 million spending plan came during the board’s annual spring meeting which concluded on Friday.
The budget projection for 2027 is an 8.2 percent increase from the 2026 budget. According to a university release, a growth in revenue is expected because of an increase in SEC distribution and expanded ticket revenue due to the Georgia/Florida game being played in Atlanta, among other factors.
