Time to register new students for school

Nicole Jordan

Clarke County School District (CCSD) will be holding their first Rolling Registration event next week, an effort to help the Athens-Clarke County community get new students enrolled.

Students of all grade levels who will be new to the district for the 2026-2027 school year must be registered. The enrollment process and the documents required can be found online at the CCSD website.

Along with online registration, CCSD will also be holding “Rolling Registration” events in certain Athens Housing Authority neighborhoods.

Using a repurposed school bus with computer stations, the district will bring the registration process to four communities from June 16-17.

Nellie B., Parkview, Rocksprings and Broadacres will have the ‘Innovative Learning Lab' bus brought to their neighborhoods for the registration events. Here is the The Rolling Registration schedule:

● June 16, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Nellie B.
● June 16, 1 - 4 p.m. - Parkview
● June 17, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Rocksprings
● June 17, 1 - 4 p.m. - Broadacres

Students who currently attend CCSD schools do not have to re-enroll, including those who were in CCSD pre-K this past school year.
