The Clarke County Board of Education will hold a called meeting Monday evening, June 1, at 5:30 at the District Office on Prince Avenue.
Board members are scheduled to vote on formally approving Dr. Jennifer Scott as the new Superintendent of the Clarke County School District.

Dr. Scott has served as the interim superintendent of the district since July of 2025. She took the position following the retirement of former CCSD superintendent Dr. Robbie Hooker.
Dr. Scott has worked in the district since 1998 and has held positions including classroom teacher, principal, and deputy superintendent.

The board partnered with the Georgia School Boards Association to conduct a national search that drew 32 applicants before narrowing the field to finalists interviewed May 1-2. Scott was selected as the sole finalist during the board’s May meeting.
