The Clarke County School District’s new Superintendent, Dr. Jennifer Scott, has scheduled three informational meetings called “Progress and Plans” sessions. These meetings will be a detailed overview of what progress the district has made and how CCSD plans to move forward.
Community members can attend any of the three meetings which will be identical. The meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, August 25 at Heard Park, Thursday, August 27 at the Athens-Clarke County Library and Monday, August 31 at Rhema Christian Fellowship. Each meeting will be from 5:30-6:00pm.
Community members may submit their questions and concerns before the meeting by emailing feedback@clarke.k12.ga.us or completing an anonymous form.
Dr. Scott began her contract as Superintendent on July 1. She had been serving as the district’s Interim Superintendent for a year prior.
