New Eastside Library breaks ground

A little over a week ago, the new Eastside Library officially broke ground. WUGA’s Havivah Saltz sat down with Amy Miller, Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator for the Athens Regional Library System, to talk about the new library and the services it will provide.

The official public celebration for the new library groundbreaking will take place on the east side, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd at Hilsman Middle School. For more updates on the Eastside Library, you can follow the library system’s Instagram @Athens _ Regional _ Libraries.
