Athens-Clarke County police have arrested a former Tag Office employee following an investigation into alleged fraudulent activity.
Investigators obtained warrants for Lilia Lozano, 54, of Athens, in connection with the case. Lozano was arrested Tuesday, August 18, and faces charges including felony theft by taking, 10 counts of second-degree forgery, 10 counts of identity fraud, and 10 counts of making false statements.
