The Athens-Clarke County Fire Department was called to the scene of a collision between a car and a Clarke County School District bus on Thursday morning. The accident happened on the Athens Perimeter near the Jefferson Road exit.
Though students were on the bus during the accident, no injuries were reported among them or the bus driver.
The car was trapped underneath the bus, and crews had to use specialized towing equipment to free it.
