Athens-Clarke County Unified Government is seeking applicants for a partial-term seat on the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections.
The position will be filled for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2028. Applicants must be residents of Athens-Clarke County, and applications must be received by Friday, Sept. 11.
Applications are available online at www.accgov.com/boards or through the Clerk of Commission’s Office in Room 204 of City Hall, 301 College Avenue.
The Mayor and Commission is tentatively scheduled to interview applicants Monday, Sept. 21, during the afternoon and evening. Applicants unavailable that day should note their scheduling conflict on their applications. Those selected for interviews will receive details about the time and location.
The appointment is tentatively scheduled for the commission’s regular session Tuesday, Oct. 6.
