The deadline for new voters to register in Georgia is Monday, October 5th. Those who need to update any of their voter information will also have until October 5th to make changes.
The last day to request an absentee mail-in ballot is October 23rd.
Voters can either register online, print and drop off their application at the elections office, or fill out their voter application in person.
For Athens-Clarke County, in person applications can be completed at the ACC Elections Office, ACC Library, ACC Tag Office, or at State Patrol on US 29N.
Sample ballots for the 2026 midterm election are available online on the ACCGov website. The sample ballot will include all offices available in Athens-Clarke County as well as the gubernatorial and senate candidates.
Election day will be November 3rd, with early voting running from October 13 to October 30th.
