Representative Mike Collins has received the official endorsement in his run for Senate from Governor Brian Kemp just two months before the midterm election. The representative took to ‘X’ to express his gratitude to the Governor for his support.
Governor Kemp had previously backed former football coach Derek Dooley for Senate, however Dooley lost to Representative Collins during the republican primaries.
Representative Collins currently occupies Georgia’s 10th congressional seat and will be challenging Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff during the November election. Collins has criticized what he refers to as Ossoff’s far-left agenda and says that the state cannot stand six more years of a Senator like Ossoff.
