Georgia is seeing record-breaking turnout at the polls this election cycle. According to a release from Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, more than one million Georgians voted in-person before noon on Tuesday. That’s up 12% from 2022 when just over 894,000 residents voted early, in-person.
Additionally, nearly 51,000 absentee ballots have been accepted as of Tuesday afternoon.

In Clarke County, 7,638 people voted as of early Tuesday afternoon. Barrow County had 7,253 votes cast, 7,547 in Jackson County, 2,566 in Madison County, 6,232 in Oconee County, and 1,605 in Oglethorpe County.

Early voting runs through October 30. For more information, visit the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page. You can also find out the latest turnout numbers at the office’s Data Hub.
