Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger reminded Georgia voters to be aware of the absentee ballot deadline in a press release.
According to Georgia law, all absentee ballots must be received by the county elections office no later than 7 p.m. Nov. 3.
Ballots that are not received in time will not be counted, even if they are postmarked by Nov. 3.
Voters who requested a ballot but have not received it yet can still vote in person. Local election officials can assist with cancelling the absentee ballot.
In-person early voting ends Friday, Oct. 30. Polling places will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Nov. 3.
Local polling places and hours can be found on the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page.
